<p>James Earl Basham, 53, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on August 6th, 2022.&nbsp;</p> <p>James was born on August 17th, 1968 to Merlin Harvey Basham and Mae Basham. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and building model cars.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Mae Basham; his sisters, Sharon Chambers and Robin Seay.</p> <p>James is survived by his children, Lindsey Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, and Nichole Goodwin; his sisters, Charlotte Hall and Diane Haynes; and his brothers, Joe Basham, Billy Basham, and Leonard Basham; and 4 grandchildren, Brooklynn, Shaelyn, Alex, and Kailee. He will be missed by a host of many friends and family.</p> <p>Visitation will be Friday, August 12 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville. James Earl Basham, 53, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on August 6th, 2022. 

James was born on August 17th, 1968 to Merlin Harvey Basham and Mae Basham. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and building model cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Mae Basham; his sisters, Sharon Chambers and Robin Seay.

James is survived by his children, Lindsey Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, and Nichole Goodwin; his sisters, Charlotte Hall and Diane Haynes; and his brothers, Joe Basham, Billy Basham, and Leonard Basham; and 4 grandchildren, Brooklynn, Shaelyn, Alex, and Kailee.
