Howard Douglas Moore, age 84 of Buena Vista, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2022. He was born in Vici, Oklahoma on December 11, 1937 to Ed and Bert Moore. Doug was married to his wife over 50 years. Treva went home to be with the Lord. Doug was blessed to have found love again and married Judy on August 3, 2017. Together they loved to travel, visit with friends and enjoy church activities. Doug enjoyed helping with the organizing of the Climax breakfast and reminiscing with those who worked at the mine. He loved his church and church family at the Buena Vista Baptist Church. In his early years he enjoyed with family and friends fishing, hunting and jeeping. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Tom Moore and Gary Moore. He is survived by his wife Judy Moore of Buena Vista, CO, son Allen (Sally) Moore of Victor, Idaho, daughter Brenda (Mike) Kochevar of Buena Vista, CO and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of life will be held at 29515 County Road 355 on August 20, 2022 from 1-3PM. Dessert and drinks provided. On line condolences may be sent to the family at lewiandglenn.com.
