Robert L. Weir, Jr., 93, formerly of Ludington, Michigan , passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown, PA.

He was the loving husband of the late Jeanne C. (Taylor) Weir, who passed away February 15, 2004. Born in Ludington, MI, he was the son of the late Robert L. Weir, Sr., and Luella (McKenna) Weir.
Robert served over 20 years in the US Army and started as an enlisted man serving in the Occupation troops in Japan in 1946, and finished his long career as a Warrant Officer serving in Berlin, Germany.
After his military career, Bob served as a Deputy Sheriff in Anne Arundel County, Maryland until
he and Jeanne finally retired to his home town of Ludington. He enjoyed puzzles, archery, and owning and racing horses – Pacers in Michigan and Indiana.
He is survived by a daughter: Donna J. (Pearson) Hock, wife of Michael, Albany Twp.; a son:
Joseph C. Pearson, husband of Nancy, Sykesville, MD; six grandchildren: Dawn, Jamie, Jenny,
Annette, Paulette, and Jason; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister: Jane (Weir) Ayers.

A Memorial Service will be private at the convenience of the family on Friday, August 12, 2022. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
