Andrews, George “Pops” Larry Fulton, Sr. 75, husband of Olga Harrington Fulton, died Sunday evening, August 7, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Mr. Fulton was born in Georgetown on February 23, 1947, a son of the late Ervin Lester Fulton and Elma Leona Benton Long. Mr. Fulton grew up in Andrews and attended the Andrews Schools. He was of the Baptist faith and was a kind and caring person who loved his family more than words could express. Mr. Fulton loved fishing and enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of the American Legion Post #69 in Andrews. Pops was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fulton was predeceased by: a son, George Fulton; three brothers, Jim Fulton, Ronald Fulton, and Leonard Fulton; and a sister, Joan Fulton Mercer. Surviving are, his wife of Andrews, four children, Tony Fulton (Shannon), Lucy Harrington, Durwin “Bubba” Tilton (Emily) and Karen Terry (Michael); eleven grandchildren, Christopher Fulton (Taylor), Colton Fulton (Audrey), Nick Fulton (McKenna), Andy Fulton (Ashley), Kaylee Fulton, Maggie Fulton, Brittany Skipper, Dayton Young, Cassie Walters (Lance), Alissa Tilton and Durwin “Boo” Tilton, nine great-grandchildren, Summer Grace and Easton Fulton, Reese and Palmer Fulton, Logan Fulton, Shaina and Fierceson Skipper and Adilynn and Bellamy Walters, a brother, Walter Fulton (Jamie). Graveside services will be eleven o’clock Thursday, August 11, 2022, in the Long Family Cemetery located off Big Dam Swamp Road. Officiating will be the Rev. J.W. Casselman and the Rev. Van Moore. The family will receive friends at Larry’s home, 185 Big Lake Drive, Andrews, from five o’clock Tuesday August 9 until eight o’clock Wednesday evening August 10, 2022.
