<p>Arthur Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Adolt, 85, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He is the beloved husband of Margaret J. (Campbell) Adolt with whom he shared nearly 62 years of marriage on August 26th.</p> <p>Bob was born in Weston, West Virginia on April 25, 1937, and is the son of the late Maxmilian and May E. (Hyre) Adolt. He was a graduate of Weston High School and continued his education at Franklin Technical Institute, Boston, MA and graduated with an Associate Degree.</p> <p>He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged in June 1959</p> <p>For over 30 years, most of which was spent in Allentown, PA, Bob was employed as a member of the technical staff at the former AT&amp;T Bell Telephone Laboratories, more recently Nokia, until his retirement.</p> <p>In his free time, he enjoyed music, playing his trombone, ukulele, and guitar; fishing, and tending to his vegetable garden. While residing in Pennsylvania he maintained a beautiful garden on a &frac12; acre of land. Bob thoroughly loved chess and playing card games, cribbage was his favorite. He always had a story or joke to tell. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family. He will be deeply missed.</p> <p>In addition to his wife, Margaret of Hudson, he is survived by his two sons, Steve Adolt of Lancaster, PA and Sam Adolt and his wife Bonnie of Windham, NH; He has five grandchildren, Shannon, Portsmouth, NH; Ryan, Philadelphia, PA; Erin, Bethlehem, PA; Leeten and Graham Windham NH . Bob is also survived by his sister Sue Davis of Milton, West Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Relatives and friends are invited to Bob&rsquo;s funeral service on SATURDAY, August 20th at 10 AM in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 214 Main Street, Nashua. Interment and presentation of military honors will take place in the New Hampshire Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. Arthur Robert “Bob” Adolt, 85, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He is the beloved husband of Margaret J. (Campbell) Adolt with whom he shared nearly 62 years of marriage on August 26th.

Bob was born in Weston, West Virginia on April 25, 1937, and is the son of the late Maxmilian and May E. (Hyre) Adolt. He was a graduate of Weston High School and continued his education at Franklin Technical Institute, Boston, MA and graduated with an Associate Degree.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged in June 1959
