Patrick Evans, 75, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was the owner/operator of Evans Appraising Company and a Crane Operator at Jeff Boat. He was a member of Eastside Christian Church and The New Washington Masonic Lodge #167. He was an avid fisherman and never met a stranger, he frequently told stories to family and friends. Sharon and Pat spent their winters in Palm Harbor, FL, where Pat enjoyed fishing on his pontoon boat. His family and friends will dearly miss the many activities they all enjoyed together. He is survived by his wife Sharon K. Evans of Jeffersonville, IN; son Patrick W. Evans of Jeffersonville, IN; daughters Kimberly L. Krejci (Johnny) of Palm Bay, FL, and Jaime R. Simms (Ryan) of Bardstown, KY; brothers Thomas F. Evans (Teresa) and Wayne E. Hedrick (Linda); sister Janet L. Rodgers; grandchildren April David (Joey), Blake Evans (Aarika), Megan Krejci, and Gavin Simms; great-grandchildren Alayna and Luke David, Dani and Bo Evans. He is preceded in death by his father William Evans and mother Frieda Evans. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at the Funeral Home.
