Reverend Darlene Miller

Reverend Darlene Miller - age 71, of Knoxville, was welcomed into Heaven August 6, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ruby Miller; and grandparents, Reverend and Mrs. B. L. Wilkerson. She was honored to be an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. She served as Secretary/Treasurer and Presbyter for the Knoxville Section Assemblies of God. She pastored New Life Assembly of God for 47 years which was the joy of her life. She leaves behind a host of friends and a church family. She will be missed by all who knew her. The receiving of friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Terry Bailey, Dr. Barry Culbertson, and Reverend Chris Lane officiating. Those attending the graveside service will meet 12:45 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 1:00 p.m., Reverend John Lawson and Christine Lawson officiating. Stevens Mortuary Oglewood Ave. at N. Broadway is serving the family of Reverend Miller.
