Bonnie Baldwin
(September 12, 1955—August 5, 2022)

Bonnie Jo Benner Baldwin was born in Clarkston, WA, and grew up in

Coeur d’Alene, ID. She married her high school sweetheart, Terry Baldwin, with whom she shares a birthday. Together they raised their three daughters in Lolo. Bonnie enjoyed a career as a nurse. She worked in the hospital as well as medical offices and later in clinical research. She was always involved in her daughters’ activities— teaching Sunday school, sharing her love for animals, riding horses and coaching softball. After raising her family Bonnie enjoyed staying active, gardening (her raspberry patch was famous), helping with grandchildren, and she took up learning how to play the drums. She never failed to amaze us! She was also the greatest cook and always had the best meals prepared from her beautiful garden. When she retired from nursing, Bonnie joined her husband, Terry, at Baldwin Fitness studio. Together they designed workouts and relationships which emphasized both physical and spiritual health. She had a very special place in her heart for her clients who she referred to as “my ladies”. Bonnie had a special gift to always think of others and how she could help them in any way.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Terry, and her three daughters: Traci (John) King, Trisha (Dane) Willey, and Tessie Baldwin (Travis Liljestrand). She has five grandchildren: Blake, Carter, Brooke, Jaxton and Colter. She passes down her love of horses to Tessie and Brooke, her green thumb to Traci, her caring nature to Trisha and her drumbeat to Colter. Bonnie’s four siblings are Barbara Everson, Mary Ann Roberge, Steve Benner and Becky Reagan. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Pete and Betty Benner.

Bonnie passed away from uterine cancer that had spread too far before it was discovered. She wanted others to know, however, that she considered the end of her life to be a win-win situation. If God healed her from cancer she would have more time to marvel at His creation, spend time with her family and tell others of Jesus’ love for them. If not physically healed in this life, she would be living in God’s presence, seeing Him face to face and enjoying His goodness forever.

A memorial service will be held Friday August 19, 2022, 11:00 am at Missoula Alliance Church. There will be a reception luncheon following the service.
