On Saturday, August 6th, 2022, Mom, Gram, Great-gram Loretta Tirone went to her eternal rest joining her husband, family and friends after a 26 year separation. Loretta J. Tirone was born April 2, 1917 to Anna Moore Hebert and Origene Hebert. Loretta was a lifelong resident of Willimantic living most of her life in her family home. She leaves behind her daughter Anne and her loving son-in-law Rick King; grandson Matthew and his wife Jennifer and her granddaughter Michelle Anne; she also leaves six beloved great- grandchildren Julia, Isaiah, Elijah, Aniya, Gavin and Cameron and also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins from both sides of the family tree who she saw regularly. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years Aloysius (Sam) Tirone, her sister Doris Bourey, her brother Roderick Hebert and a niece Judith Boudreau. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday August 11, from 4 to 6PM at Bacon Funeral Home 71 Prospect St, Willimantic. Everyone is required to wear masks. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 12, at 1:30PM at St. Mary Church 46 Valley St, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corpus Christi Parish/St. Mary Church Building Fund 80 Maple Ave Willimantic, CT. 06226 or to Special Olympics Connecticut 2666 State St #1 Hamden, CT. 06517.
