Clyde Wright Pernell Obituary
Clyde Wright Pernell, 88 of Henderson passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022. He was born in Franklin County on May 6, 1934, to the late Bennie and Viola Pernell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Marvin, Thomas, Roger, and J.P. Pernell.
Clyde is survived by his daughter, Anne P. Railey (Ricky) of Henderson; two granddaughters, Jessica R. Brame (Scott) and Lauren R. Sanford (Kevin); three great-grandsons, Jackson Brame, Andrew Brame, and Brycen Sanford; and his companion, Irene White.
Clyde loved to work, he would be known from working at the Beacon Drive In, the 7-11 Food Store, The Henderson Moose Lodge, and The General Store where he was also the short order cook. He also enjoyed attending Nascar races with friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Lancaster Memorial Park, 2210 Highway 561, Louisburg, NC 27549 with Rev. Randy Ayscue officiating.
