Anna Lee Boothe Obituary

Anna Lee Boothe, 91, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Sweetwater Retirement Community in Billings on August 5, 2022. Mom was born May 20, 1931 in Dodson, MT, the second daughter of John and Molly (Wombold) Cibulski. She attended grade school in Landusky, MT and high school in Malta, where she graduated. In the afternoons, she worked at the Title Co., then continued there until her future husband, and love of her life, Stan Boothe, completed his tour in the U.S. Navy. Mom and Dad were married on February 16, 1950. They were rarely apart from each other their entire lives. They farmed and ranched in the North Wagner area of Phillips County for 39 years before moving to Mesquite, NV. They built a new home and enjoyed the warm weather for several years until returning to Malta. Mom enjoyed family life, especially holidays with her parents, sister and all of the kids! She spent countless hours cooking, baking and helping on the ranch. She made a lunch for the combine crew that was like a 7-course meal, hauling it to the fields. She drove trucks during harvest and was up most of the night calving. When most of the kids were grown, she worked for Edwards & McClellan and Valley Drug in Malta. When Dad passed away in 1999, Mom moved to Billings. She spent countless hours watching grandkids sports events, playing cards with friends and enjoyed family and friends when they came to visit. Mom loved all the animals on the ranch and was especially fond of all her little pups (Beanie, Buttons, Buffy, Peppy and Maggie.) Maggie went with her to Billings and was her constant companion. Mom is survived by her five children, Debbie (Rick) Beyer, of Great Falls, Louise (Mick) Ridenour of Lincoln, Bruce (Denise) of Edgar, David (Anne) of Malta, and Nancy (Steve) Wolf of Billings, and special niece, Karen Koechel of Arizona. Brother-in-law, Brent Boothe, of Oregon, and special cousins, Russ and Ray Cebulski. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and six great- great grandchildren. Mom was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stan, parents and sister Bev Davis. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, at the Malta Cemetery. A luncheon/reception will follow at the Great Northern Lodge Room. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sweetwater Retirement Community and their excellent staff.
