<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Ms. Nella Silverspear, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born to Dewey and Vivian Allen on December 26, 1931, in Levy County Florida. Nella was a Shaman, healer, and teacher. She worked with crystals and stones for many years and lovingly handcrafted her flutes and drums. Working heart and soul with Spirit, she has been a vehicle in this lifetime for creating and making many healing tools. Nella represented a wide range of work and has been featured throughout the media. Nella also loved to travel and enjoyed camping; even camping from Florida to Alaska during the 1950s and 1960s. Although she didn’t currently have one as her own, she loved cats. Nella was a loving Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">In addition to her parents, Nella was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Lee Allen. She is survived by her sister, Sherry Douglas and her husband, Charles; her niece, Tricia Broughton and her husband, Travis; her nephew, Robert C. Douglas; her very special great nephew, Chandler Canady; and many special friends whom she loved like family.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">A celebration of life service for Nella will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home at 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
