She was dedicated to her work, always looking forward to her next task or project. However, there was nothing she loved more than her children. She imparted them with many life lessons, most importantly "to give everything you do your best effort".

She is survived by her children, Doreen Malo Tananbaum (David), Norman Robert Malo (Karen), and Suzanne Malo Beachy (Keith); sister, Eve Pike (Bern); six grandchildren, C. Todd Malo (Suzanne), Lauren Rippy, Kim Beachy Frandsen, Kristina "Tina" Beachy Cox (Sean), Kelly Beachy Mead (Jason), Katherine "Kate" Beachy Jenkins (Jarod); ten great-grandchildren, Jack and Graham Malo, Kyle, Tyler, and Landon Frandsen, Keynan and Judah Cox, Carter and Charlie Mead, and Jaron "JJ" Jenkins; five nieces; two nephews; and personal nurse and dear friend Donna Karczewski (Walter).

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Jones; and three sisters, Betty J. Horrex, Marie J. Mellon, and Doreen Jones.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, with visitation following until 4:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in Marietta National Cemetery.
