Carolyn Thrash Pittman, 90, of Hattiesburg, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022 in Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Pittman was a member of Dixie Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and loved to tell a good story. She was preceded in death, Reid Pittman Sr.; her son, Reid Pittman, Jr.; and her parents, George and Katherine Thrash. She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Wiggins (Buddy) and Erin Bradley (Kim) both of Hattiesburg; 5 grandchildren, Leigh McArthur Canoy (Chris), Kate McArthur Marr (Aaron), Jay McArthur (Sara), Alex Bradley, and Abby Bradley Puckett (John); and 6 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dixie Baptist Church.
