<p>Linda Barnes Garris was born July 14, 1960 in Aiken, South Carolina to the late Jeanette Dunbar Barnes and the late Howard Raiford Barnes. She departed this life unexpectedly August 5, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, South Carolina. She was educated in Aiken County Public School and employed as a housekeeper at various hotels. She was preceded in death along with her parents, her paternal and maternal grandparents and two brothers Howard Raynard Barnes and Leroy Jones. Linda was indeed the life of the party, to know her was to love her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her fondest and never-ending memories: her husband William Garris, Aiken, SC; three daughters Kendra Barnes and Shonitta Barnes both of Aiken, SC and Andrea Garris, Atlanta, GA; four brothers Jimmie Lee Jones, Jr. (Carrie), Edward Barnes, Tyrone Jones all of Aiken,&nbsp;SC and Everett Jones (Cassidy) Graniteville, SC; seven sisters Diane Johnson, Jeanette Jones, Shirley Barnes, and Melissa Jones all of Aiken, SC, Shirley Jordon, Troy, SC, Marilyn Abney (Horace), Williston, SC, and Regina Barnes, Greenville, SC; one uncle Wesley Williams, Belvedere, SC; nine grandchildren Shauntasia, Carlos, Kendall, Charmaine, Dallas, Shanice, Xyelle, Takeria, and Taniya; thirteen great grandchildren whom she adored; a longtime devoted friend Benjamin Williams; a host&nbsp;of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.</p>
