McNeil, age 82 of Conroe, Texas and formerly of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM, Monday, August 8, 2022 at graveside in the Ravan Cemetery, Bar K Road in the Fiske Union Community near Oak Grove, Louisiana. Reverend Bill Lewis will officiate. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Sunday evening, August 7, 2022 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his father, Chester Floyd McNeil; mother, Myrtle Lavonia (Pugh) McNeil; brother, Billy Joe McNeil; brother, Jon McNeil; sister, Sylvia McNeil Frazier; and sister, Lynn Malone. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patsy Faye (Smith) McNeil; son, J. Eric McNeil of Conroe, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Tina McNeil Custer and Rusty Custer of Conroe, Texas; granddaughter, Lillie Custer of Conroe, Texas; brother, Jimmy McNeil of Oak Grove, Louisiana; brother, Jerry McNeil of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister, Carol Moore of Oak Grove, Louisiana; and sister, Susan Sims of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Pallbearers are: Craig McNeil, Cole McNeil, Bo Terral, Hunter Terral, Todd Moore, ad Jamie Hankins.
