Jackie A. Woodman passed away at home under hospice care on August 2, 2022. A resident of Calhoun County since childhood, Jack was born on April 27, 1944, to Esther Louise Puffer and Sidney Woodman. He proudly graduated Tekonsha High School in 1962 and worked as a machine operator for over 40 years at Eaton Corporation in Marshall, MI. In 1963, he married Kolean England and raised three children in the city of Homer. Later, life steered a different way, leading Jack to a divorce. As his life changed, he met Sonja Faye Shepherd and remarried in 1984. They had two children and spent their life in Union City. Jack had many passions in life, that always kept him going. He worked long days to always provide, and spent his spare time taking vacations with family, and tinkering on the latest hot rod he had to restore. Family was his most important meaning to life. He was the happiest when spending time with his grandchildren. He sadly leaves behind his 5 children, Alan Woodman of Homer, Darla Woodman of Battle Creek, Brian Woodman of Homer, Joseph (Sara) Woodman of Marshall and Tracey (Bradley) Goheen of Burlington; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Esther Woodman.

Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068. Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2022, from 11:00am to the time the funeral service beginning at 12:00pm with Pastor Steve Olmstead officiating. A graveside committal service will follow at Center Eaton Cemetery, 2057 Narrow Lake Road, Charlotte, MI, 48813.
