Louie Green Obituary

Louie Green, 91, of Navarre, passed away on August 4, 2022. He was born on April 29, 1931 to Glen and Fern Green in Willsburg, South Carolina. He married June J. Everhart on March 17, 1948 and they shared almost 73 years together until her passing on December 17, 2021. Louie served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired as a Heavy Equipment Engineer/operator for Beaver Construction after more than 30 years. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local# 018. Louie was a devoted family man and they always came first. He could fix just about anything. Enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hanging out with his dog Oreo. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Louie is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Valerie and Mike Bryant; his grandchildren Keisha L. (Shawn) Schering, Dylan, Devin, Cassie Green; great-grandchild Cody Schering; his great-great grandson Wyatt Schering; his daughter-in-law Tina Green, his sisters Louise Hulvey and Betty Petty and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Louie is preceded in death by his son Rusty Green, seven brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 12:00 - 2 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio with Funeral services starting at 2:00 pm .
