49, of Richmond, Va., went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2022. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Walker; grandparents, Hazel and Oscar Walker. She is survived by her mother, Janet Walker; sisters, Tanya Muller and Amanda Byrd (Ken); niece, Isabella ‘Bella’ Byrd-Haught; uncle, Billy Chestnut (Linda); her beloved fur-baby, Miley; as well as her chosen family and sisters, Jennifer Journey (DJ) and Monika Haguewood. Amy, known to her family and friends as ‘Meme’ thanks to her niece. Amy was a creative and generous soul, whose love touched many lives. A gathering of family and friends will take place 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., August 11, at Bliley’s, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where a celebration of her life will follow 9:30 a.m., August 12. Interment to be private.
