Katherine Dolores Haynes

Katherine Dolores Haynes, 92, of Glen Burnie, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on August 5, 2022. She was born in Baltimore to the late Paul James and Katherine L. Ritter. She enjoyed cooking, camping and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Orville Marshall Haynes Sr.; daughter, Bonnie Ayers; son-in-law, Joe Gordon; and daughters-in-law, Debbie and Wendy Haynes.

Katherine is survived by her devoted children, David Lee Haynes Sr., Kathy Gordon, Vicki Emory, Jimmy Haynes and Orville M. Haynes Jr. and his wife, Betty; cherished grandchildren, Thomas Rivera, Joseph DuBois, Robert Hall, Orville M. Haynes III, Melissa Haynes, Tabatha Haynes, David L. Haynes Jr., Bryan Haynes, Alyssa Haynes and Brandon Haynes; beloved great-grandchildren, Sylar Kongsted, Joslynn Haynes, Faith Haynes and Grayanna Haynes; and her dear siblings, Pat Kramer and Bob Ritter.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1  2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, Aug. 9th, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Weds., 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
