Giesbrecht, Jacob<br><br>Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Columbia Forest Long Term Care on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the age of 97. <br><br>Beloved husband of the late Frieda (2016). Loving father of Ted Giesbrecht (Karen), Betty Stickland (Mike), Alexander Giesbrecht and Jacob Giesbrecht Jr. Devoted Opa of Amy Musclow (Anthony), Matthew Giesbrecht (Christina), John-Paul Stickland (Monika), Christopher Stickland (Gwendolyn) and Connor Stickland (Robyn). Proud Great Opa to Marley, Oliver, Lillian, Charlotte, Angelina and Theodore. Predeceased by his parents Jakob and Elisabeth Giesbrecht and sisters Anna, Helen and Mary. <br><br>Jacob loved his farming career at Shamrock Farms in Shantz Station, Ontario for over 60 years.<br><br>A private graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467.<br><br> Please visit www.henrywalser.com to view Jacob's memorial.
