Services for Mr. Dewitt Carnel Williams, 62 of Decatur, Alabama will be 10:30AM Saturday in Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel with Rev, Amos Wiliams officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Dewitt Carnel Williams was born on April 28, 1960, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Amos Lee Williams and Alveta Bell Williams Hall. He departed this life on August 5, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, one sister, Rosa Sims and one nephew, Comac Love.

Dewitt leaves to cherish his memory: His loving wife, Lakesha Williams; eight children, Jason Johnson (Kim), Jewel Johnson (Samantha), Jerrowl Johnson, Tiffany Williams, Terhera Williams, Jeremy Cross, Tamaris Williams, Jaden Williams;  stepmother, Minnie Williams of Montgomery, AL; siblings, the Rev. Amos Williams (Eulanda) of Decatur, Emetheus Williams of Hillsboro, AL, Noah Williams, Princess Williams, Marcus Willaims (April), Valeria Hardy (Frederick), Ervin Sankey, all of Montgomery, AL, James Earl Sankey, Vanessa Sankey both of Maryland; very special nieces, Quett Williams and Chiquita Davis; nephews, LaDarius McDade, and a host of uncles, aunts, grandchildren, cousins and friends.
