FRANCES ISEBELL CASTEEL

 

Frances Isebell Casteel, 87, was called home on Friday, August 5, 2022.  Frances was from Jasper, Tennessee and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.  She was born on February 11, 1935, to the late Clifford Nelson and Ethel Mae Howard Nelson.  She was married to Sam Casteel for 71 years.  Frances loved flowers and always worked in her flower garden, loved camping at Lake Tansi, loved her children, grandchildren and loved listening to gospel music.

 

She is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Nelson; mother, Ethel Mae Howard Nelson; husband, Sam Casteel; brothers, Charles Nelson and baby Nelson.

 

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Tony (Marlene) Casteel; daughters, Doris C. (Arthur) Williams, Lisa C. (Michael) Moon; brothers, Jerry (Betty) Nelson, Tommy Nelson; sister, Margaret (Kenneth) Bolton; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

 

The family will have visitation on Monday, August 8, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm CST.

 

There will be a graveside service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 11:00 am CST with Pastor Steve Middleton officiating.

 

Pallbearers are Brandon Morgan, Zak Davis, Robert Casteel, Bob Moree, Jason Casteel and Ken McAllister.

 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Martin Boyd Christian Home or Hospice of Chattanooga.
