Harry Bruce Gilbert, son of the late Anna (Stemock) and Leo Gilbert, brother of the late Marsha Gilbert, passed away suddenly Monday, August 1, 2022 peacefully at his home in Warminster PA. Harry was President of Holiday Supermarkets Inc., an Independent Retail Supermarket Chain in Philadelphia and surrounding counties, spanning some forty-seven years.

He is survived by his loving wife Catherine, "Cass" of sixty-nine years. Together they have three children, Gary (Rosann), Mark, and Kathy (Don), ten grandchildren, Gary Jr.,Tara Lynne, Mark Anthony, Don Jr. (Angela), Anthony (Lauren), Marissa, Patrick (Steve), Nicholas, Matthew, and Mark Andrew, and five great grandchildren, Aiden, Brenden,Emily, Jake, and Conor.

In the minds of his family, no greater "gentle man" has ever lived. No "gentler heart" ever beat. No "bigger heart" ever existed. No "kinder soul" has ever graced this world. He has shown us all, what a man should be. But more than that he has taught us what "love" is. "What fairness means". What "understanding" is, and what "integrity" stands for. We are truly grateful to God for Blessing us with a husband, father, grandfather, and teacher of all things. Our hearts are broken and we miss him beyond measure. Our love for him will never fade. "Dad", you have left your footprints on this earth and now we will do our best to walk in them till the time we reunite...God Bless You, and God Bless Us All.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm., followed by services at 8:00 pm., at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 999 York Rd., Warminster, PA 18974. Interment will be private.
