<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Michael Louis Godsil, 53, of Greentown, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022.&nbsp; He was born August 1, 1968, in Vicksburg, Michigan, to Gary Bernard and Dixie Lee Hughes Godsil.&nbsp;</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Michael worked at UPS and as a plant manager for North Star Propane.&nbsp; He enjoyed playing guitar, working on cars, reading, animals, concerts, riding his Harley and spending time with his dog, Midge.&nbsp; Michael was loved by many people even though he came off as a tough guy.</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Survivors include his daughter, Dixie Taylor Godsil; sons, Blake Abney and Jarrad Abney; mother and step-father, Dixie and Ralph Burton; siblings, Thomas Godsil, William (Ann) Godsil and Bobbie Godsil; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his daughter, Debra Abney.</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Godsil.</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">A private graveside service was held in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shirley &amp; Stout Funeral Home to help with final expenses.&nbsp; Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.&nbsp; Arrangements have been entrusted to Shirley &amp; Stout Funeral Home, Kokomo.</span></strong></p>

Michael Louis Godsil, 53, of Greentown, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022.  He was born August 1, 1968, in Vicksburg, Michigan, to Gary Bernard and Dixie Lee Hughes Godsil.  

Michael worked at UPS and as a plant manager for North Star Propane.  He enjoyed playing guitar, working on cars, reading, animals, concerts, riding his Harley and spending time with his dog, Midge.  Michael was loved by many people even though he came off as a tough guy.
