Sarah L. Clark November 8, 1971 – July 29, 2022 Lexington, Kentucky Sarah Louise Clark, 50, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2022. She is survived by her mother, Lora Lee Clark; step-dad, Neil Carey; her father, Jerry Clark and step-mom, Martha Webb and a brother, Anthony Clark of Hawthorne, FL. She joined the Clark family at the ripe old age of one month and was adopted shortly thereafter. Sarah grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1990. She had recently moved back to Lexington to be closer to family and friends after living in Omaha, Nebraska for 30 years. Sarah was predeceased by step-brothers, Russell and David Carey and an uncle, Keith Olsen. In addition to her parents and brother, Sarah is survived by nephews Bryan Clark, Joshua Carey, Michael A. Follmer and Laef Follmer; aunts and uncles and nine first cousins. She had also recently connected with the families of her birth parents on both sides and had the great pleasure of getting to know multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and a grandmother, who all welcomed her with open arms. In addition to her two best friends in the world, DeeDee Maupin of Lexington and Ignacio (Nacho) Ramirez of Omaha, Sarah loved kids and dogs. She will be missed. A celebration of life will be held on October 2nd at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lexington. Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
