Claude Parker Cook Jr was born in Hazlehurst, GA on June 16, 1943 and died at home on August 1, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his sister Saralyn Sears, of Hazlehurst GA. His daughter Catharine Cook DeLong of Bluffton SC and his two step-sons James Reid Williamson of Savannah GA & Robert Glendining Williamson of Levy SC. His ex-wife Katharine Cook and his beloved granddaughters Destiny Cook-Herndon and Scarlett Parker DeLong of Bluffton SC. As well as his nephew Bobby Sears, and niece Ashley Sears Morris. As well as Caroline Post, Leigh Poe, Angie Parlor and Marci Williams of his deceased sister Carolyn Cook Conner of Hazlehurst GA.

Parker moved to Hilton Head Island in 1972 and was President of Islands Decor Ltd.

Parker was loved by many friends and family far and near. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton with burial in Hazelhurst at 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 11, 2022.
