Richard Klinger

Richard Klinger, age 94, of Hampton Township, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born February 12, 1928 in Bairdford, he was the son of the late Charles and Grace (McDermott) Klinger. Richard enlisted in the Army at age 17 and served four years at the end of World War II. He was a Carpenter by trade. Richard always had a passion for building things and continued to love woodworking throughout his life. In his later years he enjoyed golfing every chance he had. He is survived by his loving daughter, Marianne (Gary) Latuszewski, of Glenshaw, PA; daughter in law, Lorraine Klinger; grandchildren, Gary, Jenna, Lauren, Danielle, and Holly; and great grandchildren, Cody, Saige, and Vada. In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene (Seel) Klinger, and children Richard Klinger Jr. and Donna Klinger. Richard’s family will welcome friends from 2-8 pm on Monday August 8, 2022 at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 9, at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Richard will be laid to rest at Mount Royal Cemetery in Glenshaw.
