<p>Luther Chattman, Jr.&nbsp; (affectionately known as Buddy) was born in Harlan, Kentucky on April 22, 1941 to the late Luther, Sr. &amp; Minnie Pearl Chattman and gained his heavenly wings on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Chattman Family moved to Dayton, Ohio in the late 1950&rsquo;s.&nbsp; Luther joined Mount Olive Baptist Church at an early age and served as an usher in his later years.&nbsp; In 1959 he graduated from Roosevelt High School and then began his career at General Motors - Delco Moraine where he was employed for 41 years, retiring in 1991.&nbsp;</p> <p>His passion was the Cleveland Browns! AND he was a proud member of the Browns Backers.&nbsp; You could always see him in Browns Gear, win or lose.&nbsp;</p> <p>Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Luther, Sr. and Minnie Pearl Chattman; daughter Anita Chattman; siblings - Kathleen Chattman, Daniel Chattman and Annie Bursey.&nbsp; He is survived by his wife of 61 years Robena; his sons L&rsquo;Amour and Mark Chattman;&nbsp; grandchildren -&nbsp; Randall (Chanae Reid)&nbsp; Barber, Mark Chattman, Jr. and Chris (Miranda) Shepherd; great-grandchildren - Maurianna Barber, Nicholas Barber, Robert Harding, Kamrien Parker, Keannah Shepherd, Jazmine Shepherd, Christianna Shepherd; his siblings - Willie (Cozella) Chattman, Cynthia (John) Hayes, William (Clarice) Chattman,&nbsp;Bettye Chattman; Special friends -&nbsp; Charles Fields, Donald Jackson, Al Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
