Daniel Michael Loch

<p>Daniel Michael Loch, of Norwalk, loving husband of Florence (Pulaski) Loch for 50 years, died on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at Norwalk Hospital.&nbsp;</p> <p>Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Henry and Helen (Knapik) Loch, he was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and Bronze Star recipient.&nbsp;</p> <p>After earning his Master&#39;s degree from Columbia University, he worked as a marketing manager for several publishing companies, including Holt, Rinehart, &amp; Winston, Scribner, and McGraw Hill.</p> <p>He was an active member of St. Jerome&rsquo;s Church for 43 years. He participated in religious education, liturgy committee, Parish Council, and Men&rsquo;s group, and was a trustee, among many other committees and activities.&nbsp;</p> <p>He enjoyed gardening, reading, puzzling, traveling, and spending time with his family, especially his beloved wife, Florence.&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to his loving wife, Dan is survived by their three daughters, Jennifer and her husband Mike Iapichino, Jean and her husband Gerald Myles, and Dana and her husband Anthony Price. Dan was the proud grandfather of Jaylen and Xavier Myles, and Nora, Nina, and Ralph Iapichino. He is also survived by his sister, Regina Switter, and other loving relatives.</p> <p>His family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, from 9-10:30 AM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, with a Catholic Mass to be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Jerome&rsquo;s Church, 23 Half Mile Rd, Norwalk.&nbsp;Burial with military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave, Norwalk.&nbsp; Memorial donations may be made to St. Jerome&rsquo;s Church.&nbsp;</p>

Daniel Michael Loch, of Norwalk, loving husband of Florence (Pulaski) Loch for 50 years, died on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at Norwalk Hospital. 

Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Henry and Helen (Knapik) Loch, he was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and Bronze Star recipient.

He was an active member of St. Jerome’s Church for 43 years. He participated in religious education, liturgy committee, Parish Council, and Men’s group, and was a trustee, among many other committees and activities. 

He enjoyed gardening, reading, puzzling, traveling, and spending time with his family, especially his beloved wife, Florence.
