Bernice Dunlap, age 91 of Copperas Cove, left this world on the afternoon of August 2, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 1:00 pm.

Bernice was born on May 18, 1931, in Calhoun County, Mississippi to the late Clarence and Alberta Chapman Fisk. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Alberta Chapman Fisk, and her son, James Ronald Holstine.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leland Dunlap; daughters, Kathy Holstine and Tonya Knapp. Sisters; Claudette White, Judy Stamper, Nell Daughtry, Edith Coonce, and one brother, Floyd Fisk. Grandchildren, Brooke Holstine Pomerenk, Lance Butterfield, and Madison Knapp. Great grandchildren, Emmalyn Bannister, Stella Pomerenk, Sophie Pomerenk, and Adriann James Butterfield, and a host of nieces and nephews.
