Paula Sue Yandell Obituary

Paula was born in Rush Springs, OK May 12, 1947 to J.R and Callie (Skinner) Cast. She was raised in Rush Springs along with her sisters, Carla and Glenda. As a young girl, Paula was active in basketball and she was a Cheerleader. She graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1965.

Paula worked as a teller at First National Bank of Rush Springs and also worked at Fort Sill Bank on base, where she met the love of her life, Jimmy Lynn Yandell. The two married in 1968 and spent 53 years together. Paula and Jim raised three children together, Brandon, Eric and Stacie. They made South Oklahoma City their home and Paula worked for Southwestern Bank for many years.

Paula loved quilting and made countless items for her family members and close friends. She also taught others how to quilt. It brought her great joy to share her beloved craft with others.
Paula was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a wonderful grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her:
Father, J.R. Cast;
Mother, Callie (Skinner) Cast.

She is survived by her:
Husband of 53 years, Jim Yandell;
Son, Brandon Yandell and wife Sonja;
Son, Eric Yandell;
Daughter, Stacie Thrasher and husband Kyle;
Sister, Carla Ann Neet and husband Sterling Whitaker;
Sister, Glenda J. Greer and husband John;
Grandchildren;
As well as many extended family and friends.
