William T. Settles, Jr., 84, of Bloomington passed away on August 4, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Settles was born on November 28, 1937, in Beech Grove, IN to William T. and Betty Settles. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from the banking profession.

Mr. Settles is survived by his daughter, Kate Settles; son, John Settles; grandchildren: Blake Settles, Emily Toney, Jacqueline Reed, Darren Reed, Paige Settles and Dakoda Howard; great grandchild, Kashton.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Settles.

Funeral services for Mr. Settles will take place at 3:00 PM on August 10, 2022, at Wilson St. Pierre Greenwood Chapel, 481 West Main Street, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
