Kenneth W. "Skinny" Miller

<p>Nittany, Pennsylvania &ndash; Kenneth W. &ldquo;Skinny&rdquo; Miller, 75, of Nittany, died August 3, 2022 at home. Born in Lock Haven, Ken was a son of the late Richard T. Miller and Rhea P. (Shreckengast) Miller. He was a 1964 graduate of the former Sugar Valley High School. After high school,<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge and a short stint at Piper Aviation, Ken then began his more than 30 year career with Corning Asahi Video in State College, which enabled him to travel all over the world on their behalf before retiring in 2003. Ken loved to hunt, fish, play cards, and flawlessly tell an endless supply of jokes.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia (Comly) Miller, daughter Tonia (John) Lieb of Bellefonte;&nbsp; grandchildren Andrew Haldeman of Bellefonte, and Erika (Brandon) Eckenroth, of Nitttany; great-grandaughters: Cheyenne, Ava, and Kendele of Nittany; and a brother Karl Miller (Denise), of Colorado. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Elaine McClintic, and a brother Richard T. Miller Jr.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St.. Mill Hall, PA.<br /> At Ken&rsquo;s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.</p> <p>The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a memorial donation to The American Cancer Society.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
