Sandra Gay Sreevalsan
Sandra Gay Sreevalsan, 74, of Thomson, Georgia passed away on July 17th, 2022 in Evans, Georgia. Sandra was born in Louisville, Georgia to Susie (Sellers) and Silas Gay on December 4, 1947. Sandra attended school in Augusta. She was to married “Sree” Sreevalsan for over thirty years. Before retiring, Sree was a virologist at Georgetown University. Sandra loved to travel, cook, spending time at the beach, gardening and trying new adventures. All who loved her will never be able to listen to her favorite Motown songs without smiling. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Sree, who passed away on May 30, 2022, her father, Silas Gay, and her step-father, William V. “Bill” Walden. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Christy Mostowy (Ben); son, Ryan Nair; granddaughters; Kara Harris (Robert) and Kasi Livingston. Sandra is also survived by her sister, Helen Spohrer, and their mother Susie Walden, age 94. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, or, the charity of your choice. The family of Sandra wishes to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Marshall Pines Memory Care, Agape Hospice and Comfort Keepers Nursing. Sandra will be interred at Stapleton Baptist Church next to her step-father, William Walden.Obituary
