Wilda Faye Worley

Wilda Fay Worley, age 82 years, 9 months, and 28 days, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at her home in the Skull Bone Community.<br><br>Funeral services were held Monday, August 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Tapley officiating. Burial will follow in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. <br><br>She was born Sunday, October 8, 1939 in Whitley City, Kentucky to Everett Taylor and Elizabeth Ruth King Taylor. Wilda was a homemaker her entire life, always taking care of her home and family. She enjoyed raising beautiful flowers and spending time with her family. Wilda was a devout Christian and a member of the Revelo Church of God.<br><br>She was married to Coy Worley and they were blessed with six children: Rick Worley and his wife, Janet, of Stearns, Mike Worley of Whitley City, Debra Allison and her husband, Benny, of Revelo, Linda Boyatt and her husband, Curtis of Winfield, Tennessee, and Tammy Smiddy of Pine Knot survive. A son, Tony Worley, one brother, and three sisters precede her in death.<br><br>In addition, Wilda leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Coy Worley, a brother, Ronald Taylor and his wife, Virginia, three sisters, Rose Canada and her husband, Eugene, Doris Crabtree and her husband, Junior, and Janice Bryant, eleven grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.<br><br>Wilda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and for her Christian faith. Our loss is her eternal gain.<br><br>Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Wilda Worley.
