Michael Spence Givens, 58 years old of Conway SC passed away on Thursday August 4, 2022, at a local hospital surrounded by his family.

A private family service was held at Burroughs Funeral Home.

 

Michael “Mike” was born on March 5, 1964, to Father Wendell Givens and Mother Patti Risher.

 

He has lived most of his life in the Conway South Carolina area. He was a hardworking man his whole life and could do about anything with his hands. From building houses to anything inside of the house he could do it all. He was a very devoted husband, dad, and papa who loved his family with his whole heart and would go above and beyond for them. He always put others before himself and would do anything he could to help someone else. To know this man was to love him, he has touched so many and will be greatly missed.

 

He is proceeded in death by his father Wendell Givens, a brother Ronald Givens, and brother Patrick Givens.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Donna Givens. His children Michael Wayne Givens and Jessica Cornwell. His grand children Daelyn Givens, Alissa Cornwell (James Scott), and Kenzie Cornwell. A soon to be great-grandson Briggs Michael Vernon Scott. A brother Jason (Jill) Prince of VA, and a sister Susan Lassiter of AL. Also, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
