Sylvester Joseph ValentiSylvester "Pete" Joseph Valenti, Long time resident of Clinton Twp., was received into the loving arms of Jesus, his beloved son Toby and the angels in heaven on August 1, 2022 in Mission Pointe Care Center of Madison Heights.<br><br>Pete was born in Detroit on October 4, 1942 the loving son of the late Peter and Sara (LaFata) Valenti. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Diana Pohlman on April 25, 1964 in the Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak. The couple first made their home in Royal Oak moving to their longtime residence in Clinton Twp. in 1965. Pete loved working with his wife, designing flower arrangements in their Doyas Flower Shop. He worked as a boring mill operator at Intra Lake Bases Tool & Die of Fraser for many years, retiring in 1965. Pete enjoyed hunting, motor cycles, and cars. Most of all he was a nature lover who enjoyed camping with his boys. He was a very fun loving person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.<br><br>Sylvester is survived by his loving wife Diana; his loving sons, Anthony, Thomas and Timothy (Kalynn) his five sisters, Betty, Sarah, Joanne, Grace, Susan and Rosemary and his loving grandchildren, Elle, Alexander, Sabrina(Frank), Weston and William. He was preceded in death by his loving son Toby.<br><br>Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd. Fraser, Wednesday from 2pm till 5pm with a life celebration to be held at the Infinity Hall and Side Bar Restaurant of Fraser following the funeral service.
