Greta Jean Thompsen Hall, a resident of Perry, MI, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the age of 67. She was born in Ludington on August 31, 1954, to Robert and Mabel (Parker) Thompsen. Greta was a voracious reader and loved watching movies. She liked family bonfires and traveling to visit her daughters and grandchildren. Always with a quick wit, Greta spent her spare time doing crossword puzzles. She had a passion for music and was fond of dancing. Born with a green thumb, Greta enjoyed her collection of houseplants. Greta is survived by her daughters: Darcy (Brian) Drayton and Lexey (C.R. Peterson) Hall; her grandchildren: Anna Lynn Anderson, Brianna Rae Drayton, and Eben Frank Hall IV; her siblings: Ann (Dan) Nelson, Don (Kathy) Thompsen, and Rita Jesson. Greta also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother, Steven, and her beloved pet burro, Cisco. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 12, 2022 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Perry Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. www.watkinsfuneralhomes.com
