Harry J. Pasley, 88, of Addison, Illinois passed away peacefully August 5, 2022.

Harry was the beloved husband of the late Diane M. (Schutt) Pasley; dear father of Michael (Josephine) and Brian Pasley; loving grandfather of Morgan and Nathan Pasley; fond brother of James (Vickie) Deatherage; dear son of the late Mark Deatherage and the late Ella Golaskey. 

Harry was born in Adamson, Oklahoma and in his youth moved to Batavia, Illinois. He joined the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War. He came back to Illinois and met his wife and the love of his life, Diane. They built their home and raised their family in Addison, Illinois. Harry was a practical, hard worker that made it a point to be sure that his family had everything they needed. He was friendly and often the life of the party. He especially enjoyed cheering for his beloved Oklahoma Sooners football team. He will be sorely missed. 

A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12th, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 Pm at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Harry will be Lying-In-State from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln Ave, Lombard, with Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn, IL.
