George Donald Grasmick

George “Don” Grasmick, 80 of Rocky Ford, Colorado died Friday, August 5th, 2022, at Fowler Health Care Center in Fowler, Colorado. <br>Don was born on September 7th, 1941, in Rocky Ford to George and Vivian (Corf) Grasmick. Don was born and raised in Rocky Ford where he worked on the family Farm. While serving his Country in the Air Force, Don met his future wife, Judy Nelson and they married January 1963. They had two children, Sandra and Brian. In 1978, Don moved his family back to Rocky Ford to go back to his roots and his passion in farming. Don taught his family the importance of integrity, hard work and family values. <br>Don was a man of few words, but he made them count. From his funny tales and his caring ways to his meaningful and impactful advice, Don was loved and respected by his family and friends, of which there are many. Don has made an indelible mark on this world and will continue to be missed every day. <br>Don was a loving and devoted family man is survived by his children, Sandra Wilkerson and Brian (Libby) Grasmick, sister Janice (Dave) Crosson, brother-in-law Gary (Lenora) Nelson and sister-in-law Elaine (Ray) Homan. Don has four grandchildren, Eric, Julia, Travis, RJ and many nieces and nephews. <br>Don was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Grasmick, his parents, his sister, Geraldine Dell, his two brothers, Ronald E. Grasmick and David L. Grasmick.<br>

Sorry for your loss. Don was a good man and farmer. I knew Don through Griffin Holder. He was a straight shooter.
