<p>Bingham</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Lewis Baker, 88, of Bingham passed away on August 2, 2022 in the same house in which he was born.&nbsp; Lewis was born on September 28, 1933, the son of Milton Baker and Ethel Hunnewell Baker in Bingham, Maine.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Lewis was a wonderful and beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.&nbsp; He attended and graduated from Bingham schools.&nbsp; He served in the U.S. Navy.&nbsp; He was employed as a bus driver for 17 years during which he was fondly known for his favorite red hat and singing to the school children.&nbsp; For years, Lewis enjoyed square dancing and part-time square dance calling.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Lewis Was Predeceased by his parents, his sister Annie Owens, and a daughter at infancy Jacelyn Baker</p> <p>Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, 4 months, Pauline Baker of Bingham, his two sons, Jordan D.Baker of Bingham, Tunkey Baker of Reno, NV, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A funeral service will be held at the First Congregational Church in Bingham on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:00 am followed by a burial at Robinson Memorial Cemetery.&nbsp;&nbsp;All are invited to an open house at the Baker home at 6 Bates St, Bingham, directly following the burial.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> &nbsp;</p> <p>Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Lewis Baker, 88, of Bingham passed away on August 2, 2022 in the same house in which he was born.  Lewis was born on September 28, 1933, the son of Milton Baker and Ethel Hunnewell Baker in Bingham, Maine.  

 

Lewis was a wonderful and beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He attended and graduated from Bingham schools.  He served in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed as a bus driver for 17 years during which he was fondly known for his favorite red hat and singing to the school children.  For years, Lewis enjoyed square dancing and part-time square dance calling.
