DORIS JEAN HAMP JUNE 6, 1924 - JANUARY 6, 2010
Doris Jean Hamp 85 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Mid Michigan Medical Center-Midland. Doris was born June 6, 1924 in Wheeler Twp., Michigan the daughter of Clarence J. and Theo F. (Hackett) Hall. Doris was united in marriage to Mr. James D. Hamp on December 24, 1959 in St. James City, Florida. Mr. Hamp preceded Doris in death on March 15, 1980. Mrs. Hamp served her country in the United States Army during World War II. Doris had resided in Harrison for over fifty years. Surviving Doris is her loving son, Mr. Jeffery James Hamp of Harrison, one nephew, Mr. Larry A. Hamp and wife Becky of Alma, Michigan, one sister, Mrs. Helen Alexander of Breckenridge, Michigan, close friends: Linda and Bev of Harrison, plus many nieces and nephews. Doris also was preceded in death by her parents, one step son, James R. Hamp, one brother, Lawrence Hall and two sisters: Florence Keiffer and Ruth Keel.
