Elizabeth Kleebaum Obituary

Elizabeth Kleebaum was born in Grandview Manitoba on December 15th, 1941, to William Hnatiuk and Lena (Paley) Hnatiuk. She had 4 older siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. When she finished her education, she moved to Winnipeg to find employment at a candy factory and babysitting. Later in life she worked as a waitress and a live - in nanny/housekeeper. She returned back to her hometown to find love and married. She followed her 1st husband to Nova Scotia to be the wife of a Navy sailor.  A year or so later they would move the family back to Manitoba and separate. Years later she would fall in love and remarry and become a mother and housewife. She had a lifelong battle with a Mental Health Illness from the time she was 20. She was a kind-hearted woman that held her joy close to her heart. She had quite the sense of humour that kept her and everybody laughing. She liked to dress up and look fashionable in her appearance. Her pride and joy are her 3 children. After becoming a widow, she left Inglis to reside at Roblin Crocus Court Personal Care Home until her death. She was predeceased by 2 husbands Elmer E Kleebaum and Glenn C Pratt as well as her 4 siblings, 2 brothers Dan Hnatiuk and Elmer Hnatiuk, 2 sisters Mary (Hnatiuk) Kuliasa and Edith Hnatiuk. Surviving are her 3 children, daughter Patricia G Pratt, 2 sons Paul D. H. Sidon and Darryl W Kleebaum along with 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are 2 sisters in laws Annette Bryant and Melva Goebel and brother-in-law Bill Goebel along with several nieces and nephews.
