Justin D. Tumblin (Ruga) was born on January 22,1999, in Metairie, LA to Yneka Tumblin and Chris Ranton.
Justin accepted Christ at an early age. Everybody loved Ruga. They couldn’t keep up with him. Every time you would see him— he was the fliest guy on the scene. Money was his passion. The only thing he was more passionate about was his mama. He was a true mama’s boy.
After being educated by Jefferson Parish and Mobile County Public School Systems, he worked as a businessman.
Justin leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Yneka (Brian Sr.) Moten of Baton Rouge, LA; father, Chris (Andrea) Ranton of Baton Rouge,LA,; and siblings: Christal, Brian Jr., Brandon, Dontrell, and Brandon Braxton. He also leaves to cherish his memories his grandmothers: Susie Jones and Virgie Ranton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Christon, grandfathers, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life honoring Justin “Ruga” Tumblin will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at New Generation Fellowship, 1000 Clay St., Kenner, LA 70062. Visitation 10-11am. Service will begin at 11am. Final care and professional services entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy., Gramercy, LA 70052.
