Margaret V. Cooney

Margaret V. (Leamy) Cooney, 60, a professional model and jewelry designer, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the former wife of Raymond P. Cooney. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Peck) Leamy, Sr. Margaret was the beloved mother of Allana N. Cooney, Dana L. Mello (Joseph), Jonathan F. Cooney (Madisson) and the late Aaron R. Cooney. Loving grandmother of Jacob, Morgan and Ravyn. She was the sister of the late Frank Leamy, Jr. and David Leamy. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 4-7pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 7pm at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
