<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">Mr. Howard Allen Shaw, Sr. departed this life unexpectedly due to cancer on Thursday, August 4, 2022, in Lansing, Michigan. He was born in Ripley, Tennessee on May 11, 1930, to Minnie Parker Shaw and George Shaw.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">He wed Mary Sue Cox on July 16, 1950, and in 1954, they relocated to Lansing, Michigan where he was employed with General Motors for 33 years. He was an excellent cook that served in the Korean War as a chef in the United States Army and earned an honorable discharge. He had a green thumb and was an excellent gardener that shared his produce with everyone. He would tackle any odd job at his home and anyone else&rsquo;s home if needed. He was a man full of wisdom.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">He joined Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Kirklin Hall. Down through the years, the Lord touched him, and a change came over his life.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters; Kathy (Charles) Gray, and Bonnie (Kenneth) Richardson; sons, Howard (Mary Louise) Shaw, Jr., Princeton Tyrone Shaw, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Thaddeous Fitch-Shaw, Waldorf, Maryland; 26 grandchildren including special granddaughter, Kortnee Richardson; 20 great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces including special niece, Martha Thornton, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends Bishop Aaron and Bishop&rsquo;s Wife, Virgie Milton, Tommy Smith, Pete McIntosh, Mildred Manuel, and Greg.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Edward Jarrett and Terry Shaw; daughter, Martha Jackson; 2 grandsons, Lonnie Brown and Frank TySuan Street; and 2 sisters, Willie Ruth and Warlene Thornton.</span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p>

Mr. Howard Allen Shaw, Sr. departed this life unexpectedly due to cancer on Thursday, August 4, 2022, in Lansing, Michigan. He was born in Ripley, Tennessee on May 11, 1930, to Minnie Parker Shaw and George Shaw.

He wed Mary Sue Cox on July 16, 1950, and in 1954, they relocated to Lansing, Michigan where he was employed with General Motors for 33 years.
