Kenny Lee Varner

Kenny Varner age 56 of Lenoir City passed away Friday morning, August 5, 2022.  He was a member of Sixth Avenue Church of God.  Kenny was a talented carpenter and an avid fisherman who loved camping and being in the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest R. Varner; brothers: James Ray Varner, Larry Wayne Varner and Dr. Ernie Varner.  Survived by his wife, Jill Varner; children, Art Varner (Jessie), Kenda Varner (Travis), and Chancey Green (Erica); grandchildren: Kenlee Varner, Aubree Varner, Dakota Green and Gauge Green;  mother, Joyce Goins Varner; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Rev. David Snyder; sisters-in-law, Angeleea Wright Varner and Mary Ann Cook along with many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 8th at the Sixth Avenue Church of God in Lenoir City.  Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. David Snyder and Rev. Brien Sturgill officiating.  Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to Loudon Co.
