Wesley Adam Ellis Obituary

Wesley Adam “Wes” “Big Paws” Ellis, 36, was born the 29th day of November 1985, our last blessing to complete the family of our dreams. Wes always kept us on our toes, but that's what made him Wes. Wesley left this world on August 2nd, 2022. He was greeted in heaven by his loving Father Terry Wayne Ellis, Grandfather Grey Wooten, Grandmother Faye Ellis, Great Grandparents Grady and Leola Doss,  his beloved Great Aunt Shirley Harrison and Great Uncle Bobby Watson.  Wes was a happy and loving person if you knew him he was your friend as he would say,  “Lets have some fun. if it goes wrong, we’ll call mom”. Through his years he played soccer, was a Cub Scout at Pack 109, Boy Scout at Troop 207 where he achieved his Eagle Scout Rank and Brotherhood member of the OA. Wes loved rock climbing, disc golf, kayaking, camping, fishing, coon hunting, drawing and crafting and anything to do with nature. He loved being in the wind on his Harley with family and friends, he spent many years with his Grandpa learning auto mechanics and auto body repair. He could fix almost anything and what he couldn't fix he could rig it. He was skilled in heavy equipment, excavating and grading work, climbing towers, construction,

and many other jobs. He was currently employed at Cataloochee Ski Resort and was absolutely in love with it. Left here to cherish the memories of his life, his Mother Katrina Ellis, Grandparents Brenda "G" and Fred "Papaw" Evans and loving Big Brother Brandon and his wife, Brandi Ellis along with his nephews Baden and Spencer Ellis his most beloved son Hunter Lee Ellis, his significant other Amber Owenby, stepdaughters Mia, Trinity, Kaylee his adored “Aunt Mickie” Doss and Jeff Southern.
