<p>Robert Pratt Taff 86, of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at his home.</p> <p>Services and burial for Mr. Taff will be held privately with Rev. Dan Locke and Rev. Keith Warren officiating.&nbsp;</p> <p>Mr. Taff was born in Nitro, West Virginia on April 27, 1936, a son of the late Alton Parker and Virginia Burns Taff, Sr.&nbsp; He was a 1954 graduate of Strasburg High School and attended Shepherd College.&nbsp; Bob played football and baseball in both high school and college.&nbsp; He was a high school football referee for 20 years. Bob worked as an explosive engineer for many years, was a strong Christian believer, and would always put on the full armor of God.&nbsp; He was a member of the Emanuel Church at Fishers Hill and attended Liberty Baptist Church.&nbsp; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Alton Parker Taff, Jr.</p> <p>Survivors include his wife Arwilda &ldquo;Trudy&rdquo; Hamrick Taff; one daughter Tina Taff Neal (Jay); grandsons Matthew Taff Neal (Jennifer), Parker Joseph Neal (Carissa); his great grandsons Acelin Neal and Brooks Neal; his great granddaughters Quinn Neal and Camden Neal; his sister Mary Taff Miller (Mark) along with several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Emmanuel Church at Fishers Hill P.O.
